NKG PACE invites you to join its new Open Access Series for monthly coffee education moments. This free, live public series will feature Neumann Kaffee Gruppe colleagues from around the globe (and along the entirety of the coffee supply chain), as well as other industry experts.
The Open Access Series was created in response to feedback received during the NKG PACE interview process. Many applicants shared that coffee education is often expensive and difficult to access while working shifts in cafés and roasteries. So, to support more BIPOC coffee professionals in advancing their careers, NKG PACE is offering one opportunity per month for everyone to join the NKG PACE Partners on their educational journeys.
For the first Open Access installment — The Power of Processing — we will be joined by Gloria Pedroza, Head of Quality at NKG Quality Service in Switzerland; Diego Guardia, Trader & Head of Specialty at exporter Ceca in Costa Rica; and Camila Khalife, a coffee consultant based in Ecuador and the Impact & Communications Lead with The Chain Collaborative. We will discuss the different coffee-processing methods, where and why they’re used, how quality is created through processing, and the risks, investment and repeatability factors that impact decision-making for producers. You can read more here.
This rich educational opportunity is open to all. Please register to join us Wednesday, July 10, at 11 E.T. A recording will be available on the NKG PACE site afterward, along with information about upcoming sessions.
We hope you’ll join in — and share the link with anyone who might benefit from a richer coffee education.
