This time of year, our Quality Control lab in Hoboken, NJ, is bustling with incoming samples to evaluate. Luckily, they are not just approval samples but arrival samples representing the landed lots we have been eagerly awaiting. Many — as you might expect — are from Central America, however coffees from other origins are arriving as well.
Every week, QC Manager Ed Kaufmann updates our team on sample traffic and sensory results (we share highlights with our customers in our bi-weekly newsletter, sign up here to get on the list). Ed relishes this surge in springtime sample activity. And with his sample report lists growing longer, we decided to share an extended edition with you as well!
