This Season’s Kenya Offers

February 4, 2026

The Kenya harvest is complete, and early indicators point to an exceptional season. We’ve received pre-selection samples from our partners at NKG East Africa, showcasing a range of specialty single-mill lots that highlight both quality and consistency across the crop.

According to Daniel Magu, Specialty Coffee Trader at Ibero East Africa, Kenya typically produces around 800,000 bags in a strong year — but this season exceeded expectations by nearly 10%. He attributes the increase to favorable weather with timely rainfall, continued adoption of good agricultural practices and expanded planting driven by strong international coffee prices. Notably, while AB grade usually accounts for roughly 45% of Kenya’s production, this year has seen a rare shift, with AA grades reaching up to 50%.

These coffees are available now and can ship as early as March. We won’t be holding microlots in inventory this year, making this a limited opportunity to secure standout single-mill Kenyan lots.

If Kenya is on your buying list this season, now is the moment — orders must be placed by Monday night, February 9.
