Customers who receive coffee from Continental Terminals Inc., in Carteret, N.J., please take note of this important message regarding service interruptions:
On Friday, May 22, CTI New Jersey will begin migrating its inventory management platform. As a result, service will be interrupted Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22, and continue through Tuesday, May 26, given the May 25 Memorial Day holiday closure.
Please see the chart below for a quick explanation of the delay times between order dates and ship dates between May 21 and May 29.
Importantly, Wednesday, May 20, is the last day to submit orders, by the 2 p.m. ET cutoff, for shipment Thursday, May 21. These orders will be handled in the order in which they are received, and CTI will notify our Customer Service teams when orders are processed and a ship date has been assigned.
On Tuesday, May 26, CTI expects business to resume as usual, and staff will prepare outbound orders as they’ve been received. However, having already converted their Virginia and California operations to the same system, CTI NJ anticipates that, for a short time, orders may take two to three business days to be processed and shipped. (But, again, the goal is to be back to normal as soon as possible.)
Please note that consolidations and orders on a third-party transfer may initially experience additional delays.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate this interruption. We look forward to working with CTI on their new platform and to a prompt return to next-day shipping.
