Colombia Huila Organic

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Organic farming is a family business in southern Huila. Producers are proud to create high-quality, certified coffees from this specific denomination of origin.

The Café Origen producer association has 109 members in the Huila municipalities of San Agustín, Acevedo and Pitalito. Their main priority for working together is to consolidate for greater market access (particularly to the Japanese market, which they say appreciates the characteristics specific to Huila—such as a bright, citrusy acidity and a long, pleasing aftertaste).

Cupping notes: Cocoa, caramel, fruit, herbal, complex.
