These diverse microclimates make Oaxaca a region rich in biodiversity and ideal for agriculture, including the production of coffee.

Organic Coffee Growers of Oaxaca
Organic Coffee Growers of Oaxaca (CORO) is comprised of producers from several regions in Oaxaca including Cañada, Mixtec, Papaloapan, Sierra Norte, Sierra Sur, Istmo and Costa.
This cooperative is comprised of 2,519 producers — 44 percent of whom are women — representing six indigenous ethnic groups. CORO provides essential services to its members, including agricultural and social programs, assistance with marketing and market access, as well as certification and milling services. All of this is toward the goal of improving indigenous communities’ quality of life by increasing family incomes.
Mexico Oaxaca from CORO is fully washed Typica, Caturra, Catuai, Bourbon, Sarchimor, and Marsellesa varieties.

Union de Productores Las Flores
Union de Productores Las Flores is based in the town of Eloxochitlán de Flores Magón, about six hours east of Mixteca. Each smallholder member owns and cultivates roughly 0.5 to 3 hectares. They grow mostly Mundo Novo, Bourbon, Typica, and Criollo varieties.
Mexico Oaxaca from Union de Productores Las Flores is wet milled by individual producers and then transported in parchment to the UPLF beneficio. The majority of La Cañada farmers, pickers, and beneficio workers still speak the indigenous language of the region. They often consolidate their coffee with “Mixteca Alta del Pacifico” to build full containers.

El Reflejo Tercer Milenio
Mexico Oaxaca El Reflejo Organic comes to us from 148 producer members of the cooperative El Reflejo Tercer Milenio. The cooperative offers a variety of services to its members. Working with Conservation International, producers can access workshops in topics including crop nutrition, proper picking practices, and disease and pest control. As a cooperative, El Reflejo distributes coffee trees to members, in an effort to help members renovate plots.
Mexico Oaxaca El Reflejo Organic is comprised of Sarchimor, Typica and Bourbon varieties and is grown between 900 and 1,700 meters above sea level.
